British designer Grace Wales Bonner touches on adidas' affinity with Afro-Caribbean style in her ongoing collaboration.
Made with a circular knitting technique not too dissimilar to adidas' famed Primeknit technogloy, the flat jacquard woven textile recreates the classic adidas stripes in a flat finish which retains the same stretchy smooth finish as the whole garment.
With a slim body and slightly cropped fit, the silhouette is classic Wales Bonner—evocative of the '70s style which inspires the collection. A contrasting knit down the placket adds extra detail through the ribbed finish, taking advantage of the knit construction.
