Grace Wales Bonner returns for another season working with adidas for a collection inspired by Afro-Caribbean culture. Footwear sees the two bringing new colours and material combinations to the Samba—a model which Wales Bonner has helped cement in the cultural zeitgeist.
With uppers in leopard-printed ponyhair, this version carries a much bolder attitude than some of Wales Bonner's other adidas creations. Even with this animal print the signature blanket stitch details and deft touch when it comes to colour shades and placement remain.
