We live in the era of denim everything—from Jeggings to Jorts but have you considered Jeakers—or should it be Sneans? You can't really make a portmanteau of Jeans/Jordans because it just ends up being Jordans. What you can do though, is make a pair of AJ1s out of denim, which is the whole point.
Acid-wash light blue denim overlays sit atop a bleached base. This hand-processed effect gives each pair a distinctly unique personality, with some pairs looking almost pure white and others featuring a more mottled sky blue pattern. The swoosh and heel collar finish things with the dark blue hue of raw denim providing some much-needed contrast. The final touch is a gum rubber outsole, sporting multicoloured flecks signature to Nike's 'Grind' recycling program.
