Japanese sneaker legends Mita join forces with Japanese clothing label KEBOZ to create a new entry to Mita's on-going series of GEL-Lyte III releases.
Fans of Mita may recognise key details like the quilted fabric around the collar, piping along the toebox and zippered tongue—all taken from previous Mita GEL-Lyte III releases. The use of blue and red is another Mita classic, finding its way onto the shoe in key accent areas.
Working with KEBOZ, the uppers are finished in a light Almond Peach suede, adding a lightness to the shoe's appearance. This new colourway is what gives the shoe its 'Taito' nickname—reference to the Taito Ward where both KEBOZ and Mita originate from. The colours and materials bring inspiration from the cherry blossoms of Tokyo Onshin Ueno Zoo, the Sumida River and Senso-ji Temple.
