From afar this just a regular black sweater right? But it can't be, it's Junya so there's gotta be something—and you'd be correct. With a wool yarn in mixed knit the horizontal stripes comprise of different finishes.
The shoulders are a shaggy cut thread, backing against a jersey knit that has synthetic threads with a glossy finish that sparkles in the right light. The bottom section is a less hectic texture than the shoulders but the loopback weave adds a soft finish akin to terry towelling.
