TUGIHAGI is a name you might recognise from previous Kapital products. The word is actually a misspelling of tsugihagi (継ぎ接ぎ) – the Japanese term for patchwork. This references the patches which are woven into the thick ribbing of this beanie, constructed from a 5-gauge wool knit.
