A simple design made to highlight the expert craftsmanship of Kartik's fabric manufacturers.
Although the pursuit of 'hand made' aesthetics has lead to a trend of pieces which seem almost unfinished, Kartik's ateliers continue the pursuit of perfection. Across the basket weave cloth each flower is embroidered by hand, however the symmetry and repeated precision would lead you to think a machine had done it.
The fabric is cut into a relaxed long-sleeve camp collar shirt block—a casual style which is able to fully embrace the playful pattern and flowing characteristic of the material.
