A simple design made to highlight the expert craftsmanship of Kartik's fabric manufacturers.
Although the pursuit of 'hand made' aesthetics has lead to a trend of pieces which seem almost unfinished, Kartik's ateliers continue the pursuit of perfection. Across the diamond-weave cloth each flower is embroidered by hand, however the symmetry and repeated precision would lead you to think a machine had done it.
The fabric is cut into a relaxed long-sleeve camp collar shirt block—a casual style which is able to fully embrace the playful pattern and flowing characteristic of the material.
