As the name might suggest, the inspiration for this MHL. shirt from Margaret Howell comes from archival workwear. The sturdy overshirt design draws from the type of shape you might see on a boiler suit, with a straight cuff and boxy silhouette allowing for layers underneath.
A Japanese cotton fabric forms the base for the shirt's construction, finished in a dusty blue compact cotton poplin. The large corozo-buttoned patch pocket on the chest houses a pen pocket. Be a contrarian, carry a pen and pad – a small Moleskine should fit in that pocket.
