Minimal Boxy Shirt - Ink Heavy Cotton Linen Poplin

Margaret Howell's Ink, heavy linen/cotton Poplin Shirt is an exercise in minimalism.
Cut boxy, with a straight hem, it hangs off the body with no need for superfluous detailing that would otherwise tangle up the silhouette in pesky, pragmatic details like pockets. After all, minimalists don't carry phones.
Horn buttons and a hanger loop over a perfectly wide centre back, box pleat. Single pleat sleeves, give the appropriate fullness to match the body and a depth and point of collar that is as equally as considered.
They call it Ink, and we can't think of another colour name to capture how this blue feels. But it has been fabricated in Italy (as has the shirt itself) and is like looking into John Pawson's swimming pool at midnight.
