A modern classic, the New Balance 990v4 was a shoe before its time. As the world was obsessing over Kanye West's new-at-the-time YEEZY line and lining up for Supreme and GOLF WANG merch, the 990v4 was minding its own business. As a continuation of the 99x series the shoe was essentially a refined version of the 990v3. Compared with its older brother the v4 trimmed back on some of the busier details whilst still retaining the familiar '990 look'.
Bearing more than a passing resemblance to the famed Stussy collaboration on this very same model, the beige and cream uppers of this pair serves plenty of ?palewave vibes. Endlessly wearable, the muted palette makes these the sort of shoe you'll find yourself reaching for time-after-time.
