For this season Nicholas Daley explores the legacy of Caribbean music legend and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte. Best know for his record-breaking 'Calypso' – the first LP to sell over 1 million copies within a year – Belafonte is a civil rights activist, political activist and humanitarian. With this inspiration, Nicholas Daley delves into the iconic Calypso style which Belafonte's music exemplified.
Waistcoats are a bit of an unofficial signature for Daley, featuring in many of his collections. This one integrates well into the collection thanks to a shared fabric and colour combination that matches the Fonte Jacket and Cargo Pants. Plenty of pockets allow this to be worn as an over-the-top piece with cargo functionality or even as a mid-layer that provides hidden storage. A trio of ties down each side allow your styling flair along with adjustability.
