For this season Nicholas Daley explores the legacy of Caribbean music legend and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte. Best know for his record-breaking 'Calypso' – the first LP to sell over 1 million copies within a year – Belafonte is a civil rights activist, political activist and humanitarian. With this inspiration, Nicholas Daley delves into the iconic Calypso style which Belafonte's music exemplified.
As the name might suggest, this top is a long sleeve made with waffle knit cotton. Along with a slightly cropped cut, one of the noticeable features is the elongated ribbing of the cuffs. This detail is shared across other styles in the Daley range – they too have thumb holes cut out for an added option of styling.
