Nike has most definitely come up with what is likely going to be the most novel way of creating an homage to another shoe. Paying tribute to the wildly successful 'Panda' Dunk Low, they used one of their other most popular models of the moment – the Zoom Vomero 5.
Looking like something out of a Salvador Dali scene, or someone's sleep paralysis demon – these 'Timeless' Vomeros are most definitely unique. Beneath all of the madness there's actually a really great looking Vomero 5, it's just hiding under a shroud in the shape of a Nike Dunk Low.
Although tack stitched on at certain points, the shroud is most definitely removable. By un-lacing the shoe and applying a little elbow grease, the synthetic Dunk-shaped panels should release cleanly.
