As a follow-up to the successful Hot Step signature model, Drake and the NOCTA design team are back with a second iteration steeped in more archival references. The moulded foam uppers bear more than a passing resemblance to Nike turf and basketball models from the early 2000s—think Glove and Foamposite. Under-foot there's ACG royalty with a GoaTek (aka G-TEK) outsole which drew inspiration from physics-defying mountain goats.
Whilst there's nuance to the design language, the colour palette is straight-up '00s with a bright white pearlescent finish with sparkles in the midsole and mirror-like chrome moulding. There's definitely nothing low-key about these.
