Junya Watanabe is known for many things but in menswear, there's few things more closely associated with the label than hybrid shirting. Looking like a shirtmaker's fever dream, the expert combination of varied—sometimes contradictory—detailing is what makes these pieces so special.
From the front, you're served a striped button up shirt which seems relative standard. There's a scalloped hem and shield-shaped chest pocket but it's not enough to alert you to anything out-of-the-ordinary. Once flipped you see the real show—a contrasting gun club check with shoulder detail to boot!
