American-born designer Sandy Liang continues her partnership with French outdoor masters Salomon—bringing a distinct feminine energy to the brand's signature trail-ready footwear.
Inspired by her upbringing and childhood interests, Liang says that her creative process involves designing pieces she would wear herself, with her own personal style and aesthetic as a starting point.
The Sandy Liang RX Marie Jeanne takes Salomon's RX Recovery Slide and injects the DNA of a ballerina shoe with the elastic criss-cross elastic securing. This contrasts starkly against the technical mesh and soft, cushy midsole of the sneaker.
