Originally launched in 1976 for the Montreal Olympics, the SL-76 came as a progression from the successful SL-72 runner.
Sporting a similar silhouette the SL-76 came with incremental improvements aimed at pushing runners to faster times. The slimline silhouette pairs perfectly with the aesthetic of Grace Wales Bonner's eponymous brand.
Seen here in a unique combination of crochet mesh and hairy suede, the uppers feature a metal d-ring eyelet system which replaces the traditional plastic ghillie system from the '70s—adding to the elevated feeling of this collaborative version.
