Similar to Viberg's Derby shoe, the Blucher's open lacing gives the style a more casual appearance compared with a typical oxford.
The uppers are constructed from Regency Calf leather produced by British tannery Charles F. Stead & Co.—synonymous with the finest leathers since 1900. The naturally waxy leather is produced using the finest French calfskin—antiqued by hand and heavily plated for a smooth grain. This fully aniline leather has a rich pull-up, meaning over time this will age beautifully and form a unique patina from your travels together.
Viberg boots are made for a lifetime of wear, so a sole which can be repaired, removed and replaced is paramount to ensure that daily wear doesn't cut that experience short. A French leather sole is attached to the uppers using a scalloped split which ensures serviceability. The outsole is a natural latex giving a slight cushion and fantastic grip in most scenarios.
