The Work Shirt is a style designed to act as a base for the incredible textiles 4SDesigns founder Angelo Urrutia can dream up. Much like a good pasta the shirt is just a vessel to transport the real star of the show—in this case is not a beautiful sauce but a fine French tweed.
This specific textile milled in Mazamet, France by Jules Tournier is a play on the shadow plaid fabrics you might see on a western shirt. Unlike a standard shirt though this pattern is achieved through a complex weaving technique that gives incredible texture thanks to the combination of nubby viscose and eyelash yarns which give an effect of tufts of fur.
