Created in anticipation of Pride Month, Nike's 'Be True' capsule creates a way of incorporating LGBTQIA+ symbology into an annual collection. As part of Nike's inclusiveness push, the Be True releases create a product which forms part of a wider effort to acknowledge people who have traditionally faced exclusion and discrimination from the industry.
For this Terminator High, Nike incorporates a host of unique touches to embrace a non-binary take on this cultural legend. The upper takes on a host of Summit White and Sand Drift panelling with subtle iridescent and reflective touches.
Much like its Air Max 97 counterpart, each shoe sports a detachable beads which spell-out 'BE TRUE' – matching well with the included charm bracelets. For the DIY aficionado, the mix-and-match nature of all the chains and charms allows you to get the perfect combo.
